I skipped the green beer… and went searching for REAL Irish pubs in Orlando on St. Patrick’s Day!
Every year, I try to do this the right way… find places that feel authentic…
where the Irish food is legit, the pours are propper, and the music makes you want to stay all day.
So I put together a few of my personal go-to spots around Orlando that never disappoint on my favorite St. Patrick’s Day.
I always try to start or end my day over in Conway’s Hourglass District at Claddagh Cottage Irish Pub.
This place just feels right. It’s got that neighborhood pub vibe, great traditional food, a great beer selection, and live music that makes you want to settle in for a while. Inside and outside areas on St. Patrick’s Day!
Then I’ll make my way up to downtown Sanford and hit another favorite The Sullivan Public House.
If you’re into Irish whiskey, this is your spot. Huge selection, great food, and they do corned beef & cabbage for lunch!, plus they open early to make a full day out of it.
Downtown Orlando, I’ve spent plenty of time at Harp & Celt Irish Pub & Restaurant.
If you catch it on a weekend, the Irish breakfast alone is worth the trip. On St. Patricks Day add the in live music, dancers, and a packed house… it’s always a good time, inside and outside.
Over in Winter Park, Fiddler’s Green Irish Pub & Eatery has been around well… forever and for many a good reason!
Dark wood interior, tight quarters, and usually shoulder-to-shoulder. If you don’t get there early, you’re standing… but honestly, that’s part of the experience. Inside seating and also on a small beer garden outside.
And then there’s the one people don’t always expect from me!
Raglan Road Irish Pub.
Yeah, it’s at Disney… but hear me out. The bar was actually imported from Ireland, the music and dancing are legit, and the food is top notch. It’s the real deal in a place you wouldn’t expect it.
Bottom line: I’d take any of these over a plastic cup of dyed beer any day.
If you’re looking for a real St. Patrick’s Day atmosphere, good food, and a proper pint… these are the locations where I go!
What’s your go-to spot? Drop it below, I’m always looking for the next great St. Patrick’s Day place to check out.
